well its good to know that staying in school that extra 4 years will have its benefits. it is interesting to see how over the years the gap between college graduate's pay and non graduates pay has increased. Makes me feel good that all the stress thats gone into this whole college process will someday pay off.
The fact that people are paid higher wages if they went to college rather than just high school is one that is generally understood. Of course there are exceptions to this rule though. In our community specialized trde workers will earn very high wages due to the demand for their services.
This is a good sign, considering the large loans and debts a college student tends to accumulate. The price of a college education has over time appreciated at a very rapid rate making it quite pricey for a student to receive a top degree. While it does hold true that the average college grad makes more than the average high school grad the debts have to be added into the equation. Altogether it seems like a smarter move to attend college rather than not.
College was not always necissary, people got by just fine without it-and they still can, but it is getting harder and harder. A college education is a pre requisit for almost any job. The graph shows how much college truley does pay off, people know this and that is why they are willing to put so much money and time into their education.
This graph makes me really pumped about going to college! I was going to drop out of high school and do nothing but now i'm goign to college and i will make more money. This extra education puts college students ahead in the job field and with those sick jobs we can get some big, pimped out houses.
