i think blogs are just a good old fashioned way to excercise the right of the first amendment. its also a great way to meet people with like interests. who needs match.com? tyler cowen sounds like a rather intelligent individual who is also quite nasty at the game of chess (new jersey's 1977 chess champion as stated in the article) and would be a worthy opponent to challenge ronald weasley in a game of wizard's chess. i would definitely pay money to see that match up on pay-per-view. its cool that people notice cowen because of his blog spot and it doesn't sound like the blogs will be slowing down any time soon.
