Cars Don't Pollute, People Pollute
Here is a nifty little article about regulations interfering with industry again. It seems as though the blue states are upset with the current administration's refusal to force reductions in automobile emmissions under, yes, the Clean Air Act. Lead lawyers Ken Starr (see Clinton impeachment) and Ted Olsen (see Bush v. Gore) say the states have failed to prove that "injuries" from "greenhouse gases" come from cars (20% of Co2 emmissions) rather than from "other factors". Cars might not be our problem and we shouldn't have to regulate emmissions. Sounds like solid reasoning to me.
