America's vulnerable economy


"Recession in America looks increasingly likely. Can booming emerging markets save the world economy?"- So reads the Economist's lead this week. Be sure to read the two links on the likely hood of a US recession, and how emerging markets might ease the impact.

If people aren't spending money in the housing market then can just spend it on other markets. Just because one market decrease doesn't mean that the other markets are doing poorly. Instead of people buy a new house they can improve it. So we can easily bounce back from that small drop all you need is time.
